Both Guildford Castle and Fresco DeliKafessen are recommended for visiting. Try the Greek cuisine at this restaurant. That's also a good idea to order the delicious crepe, outstanding turkey and awesome pastry. One of the menu items is the great coffee. The friendly staff is another important advantage. TripAdvisor users marked Fresco DeliKafessen with 5.00 stars so you can check it out.

We only popped in here for ice-cream but the staff are all so friendly and helpful. They could see I was dithering on what flavour to go for so they offered, without me asking, a sample of 3 of the different flavours. Customer service is obviously of top priority to these guys and it works - we will be returning - next time for their delicious sounding coffee. I can see now why it is always very busy when I've walked past previously - I won't be walking past anymore :-)
Having read reviews we decided to pop in for a coffee... we wasn't let down this place is a little gem. Mum had a Flat white 3 shots said it was s lovely cup of coffee :-) I had just a peppermint tea We also tried the custard filled filo pastry dusted with icing sugar and cinnamon which was I have to say AMAZING! Truly delicious When we are next in Guildford shopping we will most definitely return for some more refreshments and pastries. Would recommend this cafe 100%
This little shop has escalated to a level beyond any other coffee/deli in the Surrey area by far. These guys put big chain 'coffee shops' to such shame, and are a perfect example for aspiring independent owners and entrepreneurs! Firstly and most importantly the life's blood of this place is the excellent service and hospitality. The main owner is one the nicest and warm people you will ever meet. He greets his customers with an open heart and takes time to chat and LISTEN to people and what they have to say. I have never seen him passive to anyone that steps foot into that door. This seems to set an exceptional example to his staff, they are all very helpful and interested in their work and customers. I have had the change to chat to a few, and realised how much passion they all share about coffee itself, hospitality and the community built around the cafe, which reflects this shop's origin...Greece! They rising popularity of this place can affect waiting time every so often, however, patience is bliss. Secondly, in regards to the coffee they produce, they have clearly spent a lot of time looking for a great coffee bean brand and tweaking details to their techniques. Although at my very first visits here, the coffee would be inconsistent, after trial and error they have created a trademark flavour. They offer brilliant turkish/greek coffee options as well, made with traditional mastery. Its not only their coffee range and quality that is spot on however. They have a very tasty range of home made pastries (both sweet and savoury) fit to facilitate any diet. Their portions are generous, filling and healthy. They also offer a few desserts which I have not tried yet, as they are not as guilt free... Lastly, the most obvious and great element that I expect from coffee houses is hygiene and presentation. These guys have it nailed and it feels homely being there. See for yourself, even by glancing from across the street, you can see a great community of familiar faces on a daily basis supporting the shop and enjoying being part of such a wonderful little hub.
