This bbq provides you with nice food and a place to rest after a long walk around Chicago Public Library Chinatown. Chinese cuisine is served at Friends’ BBQ 友缘串吧. You can have perfectly cooked chicken wings, belly pork and lamb skewers at this place.

I came here with a friend for my birthday after a bar would not let me in because I didnt have my ID on me.I must say, EVERYTHING IS SOOO GOOD, the soup, the fried rice (i ordered an extra to go), the kabobs, like everything!! I can’t want to come back! Also the food comes out so quick! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The meats were adequately cooked but lacked the characteristic smokiness and the vibrant seasoning that should sing with each bite. It was as if the soul of the BBQ was missing, leaving behind only the echo of what could have been. In terms of sides, which can often rescue an otherwise mediocre main, we found no redemption. Service, as far as takeout goes, was efficient. Our order was ready on time, and the packaging was done well enough to prevent any spills or mix-ups. The only thing to complain is probably that they forgot the utensils.

Fatty lamb skewers were our favorite dish. Tofu skin and fried rice cakes were also good. The grilled bread was a little dry. We didn’t like the corn cheese. Overall we would come back again for the lamb skewers! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Recommended dishes: Lamb w Fat 5
