Would actually give no stars if possible. Went here 2 nights ago, I'm extremely saddened and disappointed that an establishment like this exists in my city. I went out with friends and family hoping to have a good time but unfortunately we were treated with nothing but discrimination. Mostly everyone had only had 1-2 drinks when a friend went up to order an other drink the bar tender Tony refused to serve him stating he was "inebriated" and was going to "cut off our entire group"!! It was confusing to all of us since we were just there to relax and enjoy each other's company. We got together that night because the person Tony called "inebriated" was home from out of town and was spending his last night hanging out with friends and family. The night ended with Tony getting ugly with our group after one of us asked another female bartender for the managers and owners names. Tony came over and yelled at her to leave and not talk to us and then proceeded to say he was the manager and that he refused to serve any of our group any more and stated that we needed to leave. When we asked why, he refused to give any reason as to why he had targeted our group. We were paying customers ordering food and drinks, who ever the owner is truly needs to evaluate their staff. I definitely will never be going here again or recommending this place to any one I know.
A quiet place but not a dead place. Watched the cowboys vs. and their crowd didget excited Rams game
One of our friends invited us out to the Friendly Spot for a mini birthday celebration. I had never been and was pleasantly surprised at the size and amount of seating. The weather was absolutely perfect to be outside so we had the pick of the outdoor seating (side note: there isn't a ton of covered seating). They had quite a few TVs going with football, the World Series, and the Spurs all playing. We ordered some food as well as drinks. We got a few orders of fried pickles, the chicken nachos, and the steak nachos. The nachos were good, utilizing black beans instead of retried for a nice change of pace. However the fried pickles stole the show. They were very thick and fried to perfection with just a hint of heat as you ate them. Unfortunately we were so hungry we didn't take any photos of the food, but we did get a picture of one of our drinks and the outside area. Would definitely recommend stopping by as long as the weather is nice!
