For our 12.5 year wedding anniversary, we spent a weekend at Center Parcs and had good food in a good restaurant. Not. Reception is nice, you get a map and have to find your own table, children are given something of a treasure hunt. What's less is that the treasure hunt apparently involves finding colors and numbers and number 7 was against the wall of our table. All the time, either alone with children who come to take a look at your table or with parents who point out the number. When we were seated we could indicate what we wanted to drink and all 4 of us immediately received a menu, a pity that there were 5 of us. Can happen, but not like oops, I'll get 1 more, we really had to ask if number 5 could also choose from a menu. Then the wait started, eventually we were asked if we wanted to order, but I asked if we could first get the drinks we ordered fifteen minutes ago. That was possible. Too bad that cherry coke apparently means getting regular cola with a lemon, but it can happen, right? Then the 4 starters arrived at the same time, oh yes, there were still 5 of us... again she just wanted to walk away, but she asked if person 5 could also get his starter, of course we could get that. To be fair, the starter was tasty. Then the main courses, the hamburger sandwich was fine, the enormous schnitzel had shrunk a bit I think because it was thin and small and as they say "nice and crispy fried" The meat skewer for 2 people? The sausages were ok but otherwise? The chicken was so terribly dry with black edges that we left it alone after trying 1 bite. Just don't do spareribs, you can lick the rub off, it's tasty, but the meat is no big deal. Then another piece of meat that we couldn't even cut through. All in all no success. I think the fries and potato slices that are served with all dishes mean 1 bowl per table, we also had to ask if everyone could just get their fries. Then one more point that I almost forgot to mention: with the meat skewer, a large wooden board is first brought with 3 sauces in it and (yes, we are lucky ones) 2 cones of fries. That plank was pontifically placed in front of us, we already said how are we going to eat later? The meat skewer arrived and we were "kindly" said "yes, how should I place plates like this? I have to get rid of them." Uuhhh you just put that shelf there yourself? But we quickly took out the sauces, threw them on the table, took out the fries and put the board on the floor so that we could get plates. When someone finally asked if everything was okay, I passed this on. In the end we didn't have to pay for the meat skewer and we still paid 180 euros! poorer. Fortunately, there is a great chip shop a little further away. My tip? Enjoy some fries with ice cream or go to the pizza restaurant. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Had a great steak. Friendly staff, also very kind towards our little children. I see a lot of complaints in the reviews about waiting times, but if you just make a reservation upfront, and are there in time, everything goes very fluently. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
