I loveeeeee sukiyaki, so I assumed Fuji Sukiyaki's specialty is sukiyaki. However, it appears the crowd comes here more for the sushi? Not really sure. Sukiyaki was alright but had a gritty/muggy texture in the sauce/broth that I did not much enjoy. Assuming it's the foam from the beef. Did not feel traditional/authentic as it did not come with chrysanthemum greens. The noodles were weirdly crunchy. We still ate it, nonetheless. Will still be on the hunt for a go to sukiyaki joint. Their menu is super robust. So many different types of sushi rolls on the menu. We opted for some nigiri and it was alright. Seaweed from out hand roll came super soggy. The Santa Barbara uni we had was not bad. Thinking I am not ordering the right things from here... Also, service was extremelyyyyyyyyyyyy slow.
