Fantastic all the way around... who knew that watermelon and cilantro would be so increadible!! Great experience.. waiter was amazing and personable.
I booked a reservation here months ago based on Yelp reviews for my boyfriend's 30th birthday dinner. We're in town from St. Louis so I was hopeful that things would go smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience!! Everything was top notch and there was such an attention to detail. I HIGHLY recommend GW Fins to anyone wanting to have a great meal, great drinks, and great service. Apps: we split the smoked sizzling oysters and firecracker tuna tacos. YUM! Main course: I had the blackened swordfish and he had the whole sea bass. Both were phenomenal. Drinks: dirty martini for me (quite possibly the best one I've ever had...) and French 75 for him. Dessert: crème brûlée. So. Good. Also, for bourbon lovers they have Pappy Van Winkle, which my boyfriend wholly enjoyed a glass of.
While visiting NOLA for Thanksgiving weekend, we stopped here for breakfast. Quant hole in the wall restaurant, tiny and bustling with attentive staff and some pretty good breakfast options. Normally when visiting any city, we try not to eat at the same place twice. This was an exception, we dined here twice. The breakfast sausage reminded me of my childhood. That's a good thing. If I had any complaints, it would have to be the table sizes. They are super tiny for a four top. We were shuffling glassware and plates around on both visits. The second time, we had better navigation of the table. LOL If I lived in the area, this would probably be a regular spot for me to have breakfast at.
