We were searching for a coffee place open in the afternoon when we happened upon Ganache Patisserie. I thought, this is just going to be another overpriced and underwhelming latte. But, they were opened, so we stopped in. The atmosphere was nice. They were playing music that I would expect to hear in a French Cafe. The aroma of croissants, coffee, and chocolate filled the air. Okay, before trying anything, I was already in love. We ordered a chocolate croissant and vanilla bean lattes. It was wonderful. The crisp croissant was filled with a layer of delicious chocolate. It was enjoyable, but the latte was the real star. Perfectly frothed milk, not too bitter and not too sweet, and the most delicious vanilla flavor ever. I've learned that the owners of this business also own Domenico's, which has been a favorite place of mine to stop in for dessert. I plan on returning regularly to Ganache Patisserie and trying a variety of foods from their menu.
