First impression: Nice atmosphere! Kinda like; "subtle baroque meets british football-pub". When we first came to Garshol Grilleriè the owner seemed a bit grumpy, but as the evening went on he seemed to lighten up and at the end he was out-right jolly! We suspect that he was secretly drinking in the backroom and that's fine by us! :) The food was excellent, but we were quite surprised by the fact that we had to bring our own ingredients.. But Chef Eirik prepared a delicious meal for us, accompanied with a sing and dance-routine consisting of selected melodies from "Kjernens" wide range of merry drinking-songs. All-in-all, a very weird dining-experience, but would I visit Garshol Grilleriè again?.. HELLS TO DA YES!!
My tenderloin steak was undercooked so i started a small fire in the bathroom and I was SHOCKED AND APPALLED when they asked me to leave. After chanting “الشتاء قادم” They pushed me out so quickly i didn't even have time to grab my crossbow from the booth i was sitting at. It was unprofessional and rude. I have received a warm welcome from almost every other restaurant I have started a fire in and I certainly wont be returning to Garshol Grillerié.
