The Coffe wasn‘t that spectacular. The Cake Looks fancy but not that special.Update:After the reply of the owner we tried a second time. But i didn‘t want to be treated special, so i didn‘t ask for it. All of us liked the ice cream, the crepes were nice but I also had better ones in Berlin. Even if I didn‘t gave a full star, doesn‘t mean it is bad. I can‘t wait for summer, but during winter i would pass.

Places like this make life in the city worth living there! Love for detail in design and presentation, nature and human needs in mind, organic based ingredients and incredible gelato flavors bring the Italian gelato dream right into the heart of Germany ( for the Düsseldorf lovers). Oberkassel now has the first and only Gelateria La Romana! When I passed by the first time I realized that the corner store, neglected for years, had been beautifully renovated on the outside. Inside I find an oasis of relaxation, calm light colors, calm deco and music, calm kids in the kid’s corner ... An atmosphere that inspires to unwind ... even enjoy waiting in line (a first!) ... paying for my gelato BEFORE I get it ... because afterwards all I can think of is: indulge! Through the window of the gelato kitchen I can see how all flavors are being made, gently and carefully, an inspiration in our high speed world!
