I visited Gen Korean BBQ House to celebrate my brother's birthday, and while we've had positive experiences in the past, this visit left us with mixed feelings. One aspect we've always appreciated is the quick service. However, this time around, we noticed a significant difference. It was apparent that we had a new server who seemed to be still in the training phase. Our drinks were delayed, arriving only when we were halfway through our meal, and the birthday cocktail took much longer than expected. Despite our efforts to order meats and appetizers promptly, there were noticeable delays, leaving us wondering if our server was struggling to place the orders. Understandably, training can lead to some hiccups, and we tried to give the benefit of the doubt to the new staff member. While this experience was disappointing compared to our previous visits, it won't deter me from returning to Gen Korean BBQ House. I've experienced great service in the past and hope that with time, the new staff will reach the same level of efficiency and attentiveness that we've come to expect from this establishment.
