Great Brunch!
Great atmosphere very good food
I went to Giacobbi's Cucina Citta with my two best friends two nights ago. This restaurant is on Allen near Delaware. They have a nice bar, when you first walk in. They have a good seating area too. My friends and I sat just past the bar. As an appetizer we all shared the spinach bread. It was so delicious. I ordered the meatball bomber and shared it with one friend. The meatballs where great and the bread/roll it was served on was perfectly toasted. The fries it came with were perfectly crispy, not greasy at all, and quite wonderful. She ordered the Melanzana Caprese pizza and we split that. It had extra virgin olive oil, garlic, roasted tomatoes, grilled eggplant, fresh mozzarella, basil, with a balsamic glaze zigzagging across the top. It was so delightful. I literally wanted to get the whole thing myself!!! I had an interesting drink too, which I really enjoyed. I can't recall what it was called. (I should've done my review on Saturday night or taken a picture of the drink menu.) It had a maraschino cherry on the bottom and was red. I loved it! The waitress was nice. She didn't come over too often and wasn't overly talkative or friendly, which was fine because I was enjoying great food and conversation with my friends. They have cool decor on the walls and a neat mural just in front of where I was seated. I'd love to come back here soon or to get food from Grub Hub!
