This is a great stop while in Bruges for a simple breakfast.  Nothing too fancy here but the food was great and the coffee was very good.  They are cash only so be sure and have some Euros with you
We stopped in after several other breakfast restaurants were full with reservations on a Saturday morning. My husband and I both had the bagel with ham, egg, and cheese. It was very good and very filling! We also wanted a waffle to split but the waiter told us we would be full off of the bagels alone and he was right. The cafe latte was great, too! The only problem we had was when we went to pay, they decided to tell us it was cash only. We didn't have any cash and had to go to the ATM down the street. Overall good place to stop in for breakfast, just have cash.
never again! If you don't speak french you won't get served I don't know if it was because I asked if there was space to place a buggy or what but the server was downright awful. We were the only people with a child. It is hard to miss us but the guy would not take our order. About 3 tables sat down after us but we waited patiently with a 2 year old. I finally raised my hand to ask for service. This guy then said after he took an order from yet another person that sat after us. When he took our meal he thought a flat white coffee was flat water and looked at us as if we were crazy. After he finished with our order we waited. Again nothing. By this time I had to resort to mobile games with my child. Then we watched a full episode of Peppa (20 min.) Still nothing. Mind you now we have been in the restaurant for over and hour and not had any water, coffee, or juice for my child. I got up quietly and went to the counter and asked where our drinks were? our meal? The barista was kind enough apologise but he didn't receive the order. He talks to his colleague and it seems he hid our order in the middle of the pile somewhere so our food was not even prepared. Then this awful man looks at me and says small mistake. We obviously left as they were not willing to do anything about this. Not even say we will get you food/drinks right away or have just simply ask how they can make the situation better and defuse the problem. I got the feeling he is unkind to people that were not French. Awful to say but I will never go there again. I am so shocked to be treated in this manner from a lovely place like Bruges. I can't believe it.
