I know this place is trendy and let's face it the prices are meant for the tourist. But it's worth every penny!! And the atmosphere is fun. I love coming here and over paying for pizza. It's part of the experience. Lmao.
Second time to Gino's and both times we have had good experience here. We had a large deep dish pizza which is equivalent to 8 pieces of pizza. I love that we could have up to three flavors on a pizza. We ended up with two flavors. One is the the meaty legend and the other is the burger and fries. Both are quite good, the burger and fries looked really unique with the fries on top but the taste does not resemble much of a burger, we enjoyed it nonetheless. The meaty legend is good all around,  plenty of meat and great flavors. The crust was a bit dry today unfortunately. Overall, it was a good experience.
Overall Score 3.5/5 Gino's is famous...very famous and depending on what type of Chicago Deep dish lover you are, you're either going to like it or not. For me...Gino's East was okay. It's good pizza, don't get me wrong. I'm a different kind of crust lover. I didn't like their crust, but that's my personal preference. The ingredients were good and fresh. We ordered the Supreme so it had a bit f everything. The sausage could have been a bit more flavorful though. The sauce was good, not great but good. You can tell they use good tomatoes with the sauce. The cheese was defensively stretchy which was awesome! We ordered the wings appetizer that came with fries and veggy sticks. The wings were okay. I was debating on the wings or calamari, I should have ordered the Calamari though because the pictures looked good. I would come back again, but I heard that the Gino's are different depending on location so maybe I'll try Gino's west next time. BTW, shout out to the server, he was great. Forgot his name but all the staff seemed great. Food review: - supreme deep dish 3.5/5 - wings appetizer 3/5 - fries 3.5/5
