All the customers love the menu that offers great Chinese cuisine at this fast food. The truth is that you will really enjoy perfectly cooked chicken, fish & chips and fish. Golden Star with takeout dishes is suitable for those visitors who like to have a snack in a hurry. The staff is said to be competent here. Service at this place is something one can call enjoyable. A number of guests mark that prices are good for what you get. But this spot is not highly appreciated by Google users who assigned it a below average rating.

Usually like this place but sadly this time the chips were minging. Grey bits on them. Only managed to eat a few that didn't have grey bits on them and sadly had to throw the rest away. £6.40 down the drain, quite gutted as Golden Star is useually good. Food: 1

This has got to be the worst and most expensive chip shop ever, after eating the very high priced Fish and Chips ( £9.50 for one portion ) it leaves a disgusting tang in your mouth. The chips are not cooked properly in oil that tastes very old and cheap, you could eat fish and chips in the Highwayman Pub for less than this take away.

Food is mediocre at best but the majority of it is awful and tasteless. The attitude of the staff is absolutely disgusting, particularly the young girl they have working there. There is no please or thank you off her and everything is slammed on the counter like it's too much trouble for her. She clearly doesn't want to be there and this place is going to lose even more custom as a result of her filthy attitude. This place is two minutes away from us but we would now rather drive to Barry to get proper tasty Chinese food with proper service and will never use this place again.
