After seeing Bruckenaffe, it may be a nice idea to visit this restaurant. German and Austrian cuisines are on the menu at Hotel Goldener Hecht. Here you will be offered good wiener schnitzels and nicely cooked Tafelspitz. Here people can delve deep into delicious dishes, and order tasty kaiserschmarrn. Delicious beer is what may make you come back to this place. Visitors don't highly appreciate coffee at this spot.

The photographs on Booking.com are not a true representation of the Hotel or rooms on offer... Good location but terrible rooms.. also, the Hotel is above a cafe not affiliated with the Hotel.. and parking is a good 15 minute walk away

This would be my fourth stay at this hotel, and although the room lacks charm, it makes up for in cost and location. Sitting quite comfortably by the Gate Bridge along the Neckar River. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. The charge for my mini dachshund is €15 daily.

It is the best hotel in Heidelberg, famous for being the hotel for artists, musicians and writers. The famous ANDRE RIEU and his Orchestra celebrated at the Hotel Goldener Hecht in his 2009 concert ''I Lost my Heart in Heidelberg'' DVD
