We had dinner at this restaurant tonight 11-23-2019 the service was fine but they need to fire the cook. The food was so bad, didn't taste good at all, all the Chinese restaurant i have been eating this is the most badly i will not go eat there again.
I like the wonton soups, they have good portions and good taste!
You know that feeling you get when you find a restaurant that is able to duplicate a taste you've had overseas? That's what happened to me when I came to So Good Taste Noodle House. Eating the food here brought me and my tastebuds back to China. At first you may feel a bit underwhelmed because it just looks like a typical Chinese restaurant from the outside. Once you step inside you will smell the mix of chicken, duck and pork hanging in a glass case by the front of the restaurant. The place was packed when I arrived but cleared out a bit before I left. The menu is large and there are so many things I wanted to try. It was hard to choose so I narrowed it down to three and asked the waitress which she recommended.   I got the roast pork wonton noodle which was surprisingly so much better than I was expecting, in fact it was simply amazing! The first thing you will notice is the pork. There is a lot of it and it is not thin dry pieces of pork. It is large thick chunks of pork that are juicy and fresh cut! The best pork I've had in a Chinese restaurant in Portland. The soup also comes with wontons, egg noodles and some greens. The broth was flavorful and did not overpower the taste of the pork. The other dish was the soy sauce chicken over egg noodles. With this dish the chicken is served cold. The leg and the thigh of the chicken are cut through the bone with a cleaver into about six pieces. If you're not a fan of bones I would skip this dish. There are two greens on the side and noodles. It also comes with a side of broth. It was good but nowhere near as good as the soup. I liked that they served a pot of hot tea with the meal. I will definitely come back here the next time I'm in Portland. If you come here, get the pork! You won't regret it.
