Great pub which, despite being in a very small village, was absolutely packed on a Saturday afternoon. Booking is essential if you want to eat. The pub is crammed with tables which is a bit of an issue if you have mobility problems. The menu is on a board which you're best taking a photo of. It would be great if the board was updated more frequently as some of our first choices were sold out. A big selling point is the gypsy pot, where food is cooked over the fire. There is no parking and quite a steep climb into the pub. Again, this can be problematic if you struggle with walking. The staff were run off their feet but service was swift and efficient. If you want a proper pub with atmosphere you could do worse than visiting the Goodmanham Arms. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very enjoyable good quality food friendly staff.Good range of real ale beers Very interesting inside of the pub with past relics including old motor bike and memorabilia

Went to the pub for the first time, we sat outside as it wasn’t raining. It wasn’t busy maybe only a few people inside.
We ordered our food waited 55 mins to arrive.
Arrived cold and the waitress didn’t even apologise for the wait time.
She made a huge fuss over the local man sitting behind us though and actually overheard her saying she hated having to serve people outside.. don’t worry we won’t be back so you won’t have to serve us again.
FYI we moved here a
Month ago and are now your locals but you last us on day 1.
