I had coronation chicken and asparagus salad, as a main course, my advice don’t follow my lead, it was poor, the chicken was dry and over cooked, there were two slices of asparagus (not a full spear) I thought it was a starter, not coronation chicken at all all in all.. very poor this pub could be so much better.. it’s being spoiled by greed one more thing to add.. the staff should be trained to ask the customer if they had any allergies.. as this “so called” coronation chicken came with burnt almonds Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Hi Jim, Thank you for your review. I am very sorry to hear your visit was disappointing. It is certainly not the kind of feedback we are used to. I will certainly take your feedback about allergens onboard as it is in our training to ask about allergies so I apologise this was missed as i appreciate how important it is. The "toasted almonds" are however stated on the menu and we do have an allergen matrix available on the menu too. Thank you again for your feedback we will take it on board. Kind regards Emily Edwards General Manager.
