Sadly let down by the quality of the food, admittedly it was Sunday evening so post Sunday lunches, but to serve the £7.15 Fried Squid like this (see pic) was frankly insulting! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

My Granddaugher and I called into The Griffin this evening for a meal ~ we both thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal, the lovely kind staff and wish to thank all concerned & indeed the excellent chef and lovely waitresses ~ very enjoyable much appreciated Xx

Nipped in for lunch on a Tuesday. Plenty of people in and a good atmosphere. Was warmly greeted by Oli who promptly got us a table, and Francine came over with menus and took the drinks order. Service was very quick, food excellent and we were very well looked after by both of them. Will definitely be back soon. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
