ATTENTION! This review wants to make it clear that this place is not for everyone: Calling it "typical Tuscan" is an understatement... It is located in the center of the historic center of Portoferraio and consequently you will find a "distillate" of the true spirit of Elba. This both in the dishes and in the "character" of those who will serve you at the table: If you are not ready to enjoy an evening in style and interact with a smile to the stimuli received, avoid... Writing reviews out of context doesn't help those who are instead looking for "contact" with the authenticity of Portoferraio. Going beyond the premise, we at Gusta Vino found a really good Lazarus - Bianco Elbano: we accompanied it with a land appetizer served professionally and with Spaghetti with mussels + Tortelli with meat. Everything really fresh and cooked well. At the end, a slice of homemade tart with figs and walnuts + a glass of red Aleatico was a perfect ending. During the evening we enjoyed moments of interaction with the owner who, by serving at the tables, made it a pleasant evening, a memory to keep for the future! When we return to Portoferraio we will certainly return to them.
