It felt like I was being expelled from the restaurant.
Yesterday, I visited them with three friends at their new location. After sitting there for a while, one of the waiters informed us that our time was up, even after we ordered food and drinks. It was explained that we could stay at the table for 2 hours, but I wasn't told this when I arrived (I was the first to arrive).
Upon asking the manager, she told me that there were several others waiting. We were still consuming, and I explained we wanted to stay for a longer period of time. It was offered to us to go to the waiting area. It was obvious that we wouldn’t continue there.
It's the first time in my life that I've experienced something like that.
Awkward...
