Sat outside on a cold, but beautiful day. Crab and chips and a cold Whitstable lager. Great view, lovely staff on a busy day, even when one customer was quite rude. Very tasty and very pleasant staff, but too expensive. £6 for two bits of garlic bread. £5.70 for a medium latte. £12 for chips not exactly 'loaded' with crab meat. One couple sat down and walked off after scanning the menu.

I did mention that I found it too expensive and I probably wouldn't be back.

The excuse of "we have to make a living" didn't quite wash with me.

No complaints about the staff and quality.

The harbour garden cafe is daylight robbery.I have just paid £ 3.50 for the worst cup of filter coffee I’ve ever had and a stack of sad wilted pancakes priced the same as the Ivy. This place is serving food worse than diner quality and pricing it higher than you’d find in central London. I feel swindled.
