After seeing The Matthew of Bristol, come for a meal. Find nicely cooked beef ribs, duck eggs and prawns on the menu. My partner and I went here for a prosecco brunch and we were definitely not disappointed, coming to £35 per person you get a bottle of prosecco each and 3 courses. Portion sizes weren't big but perfect size for brunch. My personal favourite was the "Clifton Seafood Cod", which I would happily go back for again. My partner was a big fan of the truffled Mac n cheese balls for their starter. Both of us were very happy and surprised by how good the freshly baked doughnuts were as well, coming with a little syringe to fill as much as you want. The area being alongside the harbour is very nice and inherently has a warm buzz to it but the place was a little difficult to find with the map failing to pinpoint it, however don't let that be the reason that stops you from stopping here for a bite. Gutted. The food was great but there was a hen party in with about 14 or so very giddy ladies. Was so noisy we couldn’t actually hear each other. We asked for another bottle of Prosecco 20 mins before the end of our 2 hrs and were told this time we could have it but in future it’s 1 bottle per person only. I don’t think that’s a bottomless brunch and so we won’t go back. Menu is not the same as advertised and the bottomless brunch is not that. Disappointed in so many ways.
