Food was awful. I was optimistic that it would be good as the chef was cooking in front of us. He was still using the microwave for something I thought would be fresh. The pasta was swimming in oil and tomato puree. There was an elderly man who kept burping the whole time too! To top it all off they do not accept card!! I had to go to the cash point and I it hurt me to take the money out. It broke my heart to pay this guy the extortionate price of €40 euros ! For two pastas and a drink. Do not come .

Worst "restaurant" in the city. Bad food, bad service and the place even have some cockroaches. Avoid this place, not recommended at all.

Although we've been to Amsterdam several times, this was our first meal at Hasta La Pasra. In a word, WOW! I had the spaghetti with salmon in a cream sauce, my wife had the tortellini with shrimp in a tomato basil sauce with chili peppers, my sister had a starter of tomato soup (she raves about it during our meal!) and tortellini with chicken in a cram sauce, and our best friend had chicken with tomato basil sauce and chili peppers. We also had a serving of garlic bread (a small loaf), which was incredible. Do not miss Hasta La Pasta on your next visit to Amsterdam, it is well worth the stop! Thanks Yelp!!
