We had an excellent lunch here, sourdough topped with a delicious and well thought out combination of toppings of quality ingredients. Avocado & poached egg, pear & camembert, kimchi & apple, mozzarella & pesto. The sourdough and kimichi are both homemade. Service was warm and welcoming.

I felt in love with this place. Great Coffee, the bread is fabulous no matter which one you choose and Greta . It is a must when you come by.

No longer Bræðraborg, Heimabyggð is a complete renovation of the cafe with a gorgeous rustic style. The food is vegetarian and incredible and the coffee is the best in town. If you’re staying in Ísafjörður, this will be your daily stop.
