Love that it’s employee owned! The drinks were so well priced (and strong!). The food was also really good - I got the huevos rancheros.

Favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities. Staff owned and operated, obviously the food and service is S+ tier. Roast Beef au Jus is heaven. Can I praise it more? I've gone here for every major positive life event since moving to the cities. Tip well. Be kind. Eat in Sin.

Thank you SO much for your incredibly kind words and continued support; we're honored that you choose us for all your major life celebrations, and we hope we can continue providing exceptional food and service well into the future. Also, "Tip Well. Be Kind. Eat in Sin." is a phrase we may just have to steal for ourselves; it does such a good job summing up our feelings about the restaurant industry! This is the first time I've been to a restaurant in Downtown Minneapolis and Hell's Kitchen has set the bar high. Initial impression of the front is certainly weird. A cryptic elevator takes you down to a place that is in stark contrast to the entrance. A deep red and white walkway invites you into this hell and Minnesota themed restaurant. We were seated quickly despite being early for our reservations and the restaurant being full. The waiter was honestly the best I have ever had. He was attentive, kind, funny, and all around a great mood booster (definitely the highest tip we've ever left). The food itself was also amazing. We started with the Norther Poutine, gluten free, and it was amazing. The cheese curds were stripped of breading, which indicated that they are indeed breaded in house, and the fries were a perfect mix of crunch on the outside and yumminess on the inside. The salty and savory buffalo and mushroom gravy was the perfect dip, served on the side to my partner's discretion. My partner had the Lucifer's Inferno burger, which was a spicy cheese filled burger that was cooked to perfection. My partner is not the easiest person to please, so when she admitted it was the best burger she's ever had, I was surprised. I'm not one for heat but even I'd have to admit that the burger was very good. I had the Huevos Rancheros with the buffalo flank and guac and it was a large plate of heaven placed in front of me. Every bite had a well balanced and delicious flavor profile and I was excited for every next bite, despite being more and more stuffed. We felt the dire need to finish with dessert despite, a somewhat rare occurrence for the both of us. I had the "Bleeding Heart Brownie", which was an absolute work of art. A rich, melt-in-your-mouth brownie plated in this blood red (really, not just some light red, a true blood like liquid, both in consistency and color) and sour raspberry sauce that balanced each other out perfectly. My partner had the Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake, which she described as a perfect and light end to a hearty meal. Overall, an amazing experience with a once-in-a-blue-moon waiter; a stylish and modern atmosphere that encompassed a hell-like setting that was centered around Minnesota; delicious, hearty, filling comfort food, and a surprisingly low check made Hell's Kitchen a place where my partner and I definitely plan to return to check out more of the menu. (I completely forgot our waiter's name but if you see this we loved your service and hope we can eat with you again soon!)
