Sat at the bar, no problem. Bar tender was not very attentive. Was more interested in watching sports on TV. Ordered shrimp tacos 2 tacos per order, only 2 shrimps per tacos, not worth $17. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

I really enjoyed the lunch I had at Henry's On The Market. I had just left the Charleston City Market on my way to another restaurant to eat and I noticed Henry's signage, then the menu and I decided to go in. It has a charming interior. The hostess greeted me and immediately found me a table. The server was prompt and brought out my salad while the salmon dish I ordered was cooking. I realized the time was close for me to have a zoom meeting and I requested my order be changed for a to-go instead. The waitress was very prompt in getting everything ready for to-go status and wasn't bothered when I asked to add a bread pudding to it. I rushed off with the food in the bag. I was on my way to Kiowah Island Golf Resort for the weekend, which is where I finished eating my meal. It was all delicious. I have to mention that the utensils, napkins and extra sauce for the pudding were all in the bag. I had ordered to- go at a restaurant on Kiawah Island only to discover when I returned to my room, there were no utensils or napkins. I referred another person to Henry's On The Market the very next day. Next time I visit Charleston, they will be on my list of places to go. Terrible service. Sat at a table, waited 20 minutes, only to watch the waitress take orders from the large group that just sat down. After telling her that we had been waiting and should be ahead of the group she was currently taking orders from, she responded that we could go to the bar down the street if we didn't like it. This is a horrible representation of the city of Charleston. Needless to say, this restaurant should be avoided.
