Had a good spinach/Greek salad and decaf for lunch. Yummy, but needed more dressing. I take a star off because the parking is always tight for a big truck. Had to walk a couple blocks. Otherwise, it's a great coffee shop. Has a great, unique collection of mugs and such for sale.

I like to stop at local coffee places rather than Starbucks- usually so much better. This place didn’t disappoint. Conveniently located close to the highway, I saw the sign passing through on a road trip. Got the artichoke sandwich and ended having what was probably the best sandwich I have ever had. I don’t know how they came up with the ingredients, but it was filling and delicious. Meatless-which can be too light or too bready, but not this one.Great job- wish I lived closer!

From Phoenix, Arizona we visiting Pagosa Springs! Higher Grounds Coffee is quaint serving up popular coffee choices. All of the food is made in house and is delicious, even my husband likes eating here. Today we had a bagel sandwich, quiche, strawberry smoothie, drip coffee, then a gluten free zucchini muffin and cinnamon roll for the road . We highly recommend stopping by!Oh, if you like unique gifts they have those too
