The walk with a view of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church is what you can expect after dining at this restaurant. Nicely cooked mac-n-cheese, egg sandwiches and bacon and eggs have a nice taste. Hillside Farmacy offers tasty biscuits, blueberry pancakes and ice cream. Try good Mimosas, beer or wine. Take your chance to taste delicious latte, lemonade or house punch.

Hillside Farmacy seems to be like a hidden gem because we came here for weekend brunch and there was no wait! Ordered the Big Brekkie, but subbed the bacon for avocado. The dish was definitely tasty and airs more on the side of simplicity. The only downside was that I didn't feel completely full afterwards strangely even though the portion size compared to price ($11) isn't bad. I did really enjoy their Wasabi Bloody Mary which is topped with carrot, celery, and other fun items. For anyone who is turned off by the wasabi idea, it wasn't too spicy in my opinion and the portion size is pretty large! The interior and exterior are definitely an Instagrammer's dream and I really love all the tiny, pharmaceutical details. The restaurant is on the smaller side but we never felt crowded or tight. No complaints about the service at the bar and table. Street parking is you're best bet, but I didn't have any trouble. Overall, I would be interested in coming back to Hillside Farmacy.
Insanity. Doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. I used to come here all the time when it first opened and after today I remember why I quit coming. Mediocre experience at best. We sat not at the bar but in the bar section. The bartender took care of us and he was terrible. Slow as molasses. I ordered a kale Caesar salad to start. Loaded with Parmesan cheese but not nearly enough dressing. Since the bartender never came and asked us how the salad was I asked the food runner if she could bring me more dressing. By the time the dressing arrived so had our blueberry pancakes and green onion biscuits with gravy. I got a to go box for the salad and will try and eat it later. The pancakes and biscuits and gravy were good but when service is that terrible it takes away from the experience. Pancakes came out with no syrup had to wait forever for that. Plenty of empty tables i don't know why everything takes so long. Pictures included. Never coming back.
This was my first time visiting. We dropped by here as a first stop to a foodventure birthday extravaganza. We ended up only ordering 3 small plates to share since we were planning on hitting up 3 different restaurants. We tried out their mac and cheese, crab cakes and brussel sprouts. Brussel sprout were really good. I love that it has enough charred. It was a paired well with their tangy sauce. Crab cakes still has shells bits in them so it dodnt leave a good texture. It is well season and went along well with their small salad. Very pricey though. 2 small crab cakes with greens and pickles for 13$. Mac and cheese was decent. Shell pasta with enough cheese sauce to let it be mac and cheese. Nothing that made me disappointed or wanna tell the world about it. Service was a bit off. Not sure if we were there on a bad day but it was slow. I waited a long time and try to flagged multiple staff down to get out check. It was like noone want to make eye contact or acknowledge me as I wave around my card like crazy.... I mean...  other customers did... Beside the hiccup at the end our waitress did drop by a handful of time to make sure everything is ok. I'll probably be here for their brunch or something. Nothing on their dinner menu really interested me.
