Originally an old gasworks, this beautiful historical building carved into the mountain cave is quite a popular target for Czech motorbikers and tourists alike. With that said, there is a very low chance you will find a place to eat without a reservation on weekends, especially in winter, when the outside garden is closed. This place is fully renovated and very interestingly decorated inside and you can even stay in one of the rooms on upper floors, if you wish to try something unique. The restaurant offers well-made Czech classics, beers, coffees and deserts. Everything quite alright, but one thing stood out - the old Bohemian-German desert, which I never tried before (I'm Czech) and I really loved it. With the higher prices charged for the location and the spirit of the place, I would expect everything will be spot on. Unfortunately, they couldn't make a coffee to us, they couldn't make some meals and we waited for quite a long time. Despite that, these gasworks are definitely worth visiting.
