We arrived tired and hungry from a long walk and decided to sit down at Holi Cafe because we remembered the place well from previous times. It is Sukkot days and the restaurant is very busy like all the other places in the complex. I ordered a dish of hummus, fish and chips, a small salad that is not on the menu, and a draft beer. Everything arrived quickly. The dishes are reasonable and the staff is very kind and an exemplary host. It's a shame that the hummus was so salty that it was difficult to eat and the lettuce in the salad needed a little more careful washing. When we told the waitress, they immediately changed the dish and added a plate of tahini And bring unsalted mushrooms for the hummus and that deserves 10 servings Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

During my recent trip to Israel, I visited the Old City a few times. I was disappointed to see that the Quarter Cafe has closed. So looking for a relaxing lunch, I decided to try the Holy Cafe. I had a nice salad, and later in the week stopped in for dinner. I don't remember the name of the dish, but it was tilapia in a tomato sauce. Good eatin'! The staff is friendly, although they do seem to have problems dealing with a large crowd. But if you are not in a hurry, just consider it an opportunity to relax for an hour or so while touring the Old City.
