It was good because the staff was friendly. The room spacious. The problem is poor soundproofing. The hallways and elevator floors are dismal and grubby It was not a good choice for us because the walk to the town center is hilly and strenuous. Athena seems to be a popular hotel for large tour groups.

Travelling solo and on my birthday, today I was completely surprised at breakfast with a candle in a morning dessert. 5 stars, Hotel Athena. You made my day.
