After you have seen Stadtkirche, visit this restaurant. The high ratings of Hotel an der Kapelle would be impossible without the friendly staff. Professional service is something clients like here. This place is rated on Google 4 by its guests.
Nice hotel, nice and friendly staff. Unique vaulted cellar as a breakfast room. Breakfast had everything you needed. Rooms have a good view, parking space in front of the house. The only drawback was the beds... a bit sagging but it was fine for one night. Unfortunately not so good for people with walking difficulties, as there are a number of steps to overcome. It's just an older building. Would still book there again. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
Oh well. In times of Corona there is no hygiene concept - no one wears a mask here and there is no indication at the entrance that a mask should be worn. The WiFi only worked for 15 minutes during the entire stay - but it didn't even try to restart the router. In the bathroom there is mold in the shower, which is always painted over with white paint (see photo). The shower head is dirty (see photo). Breakfast takes place in a rustic vaulted cellar with embrasures as windows. It's funny, but the mood is spoiled by fermented juice and metallic-tasting jam. Of course, you can't pay with a debit card at checkout because that's when the terminal doesn't work (but drinks can be paid for with it). The location is nice and central - if you are sensitive to noise, you should get a room with moderately insulated windows that do not face the bar tables. All in all, it's ok if you don't get claustrophobic in an 8m² room and are just looking for a well-located place to stay overnight. But the hotel still has a lot of work to do.
