The ladies behind the counter are friendly and lovely, the bread is amazing, and they have a vast selection. I noticed that Even the customers who come in are really nice. Darling and comfortable cafe area. Totally worth the drive from Sparks.

Looks Great when you enter. Fill out a sandwich order and wait a few minutes for your sandwich! Don't look around or you'll be tempted to load up on sweets! They have a display with a lot of tempting things. This just turned into my Saturday morning stop, after the farmers market.

I found House of Bread to be a bit of a quandary. It is a bakery/sandwich shop but there were very few baked goods on display and not all of the sandwiches were advertised on the menu board. There were maybe 8 to 10 pastries displayed not many cookies and very few loaves of bread. I had to asked if they had breakfast sandwiches. The baked goods were good to very good. The breakfast croissant was very good but a little light on ham and too heavy on the cheese.
