We called in on a whim, drawn in by the beautiful decor. The food was incredible. I couldn’t find a fault with a single thing. Red hot, super flavourful and presented beautifully. I never care to visit many places more than once, but I will be here again next time I’m visiting Windermere for sure. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We chose House Of Siam whilst on an overnight stay in Bowness. As it was a Thursday night it was fairly quiet in the restaurant and was seated quickly. Positives The waitress was very attentive and the food arrived promptly. Really enjoyed the food. Full of flavour and not too spicy. Despite previous reviews stating that they felt rushed by the staff, we didn’t get that with them at all. Also felt it was good value for nice food. We had 3 courses each and a bottle of wine all for under £100. Negatives Dodgy local radio station as background music Added service charge on bill without it being discretionary. Don’t mind tipping but should be given the option. However, the above negatives wouldn’t stop us returning as the food was lovely! Outstanding Food , polite service . The food was so fresh and delicious. The seafood platter was amazing and the main course simply mouth watering . Highly recommend this restaurant.
