I will preface this that we did reserve a private room with limited menu, but it was still excellent!! Service was top notch and very prompt. Fried shrimp and bruschetta appetizers were delicious. Had the Chilean Sea Bass, best I have ever had. HUGE, flaky, well seasoned and cooked and incredibly fresh. The twice baked potatoes and grilled broccolini were amazing. Very nice place. Can't comment on the pricing, but it was a terrific experience.
I recently was in Chicago Illinois on business and I was excited about having seafood for dinner. I googled a number of places that offered seafood, and I opted to go to Hugo's Frog Bar and Fish House for dinner. I had read great reviews about this place, and the helpful employees at my hotel confirmed that this was indeed a great seafood restaurant. My companion and I arrived at eight o'clock after having made reservations. We were seated right away, and we had a number of great options for a table. I had a terrific glass of Italian Prosecco wine. My Companion ordered a special dark beer. We skipped the appetizers, but the oysters are very popular, and are flown in fresh each day, and cost a dollar apiece if ordered separately. My main course consisted of shrimp DeJonghe and a fresh house salad. Both dishes were prepared perfectly. My companion had salad and the bookbinder soup which he said was delicious. Our servers were phenomenal. We were well cared for, and they were very helpful in making suggestions for the main dishes as well as for the desserts. The choices in every category are extremely varied and delicious. This restaurant shares their kitchen with Gibson's restaurant which is nextdoor. Both restaurants offer fabulous dishes in addition to an extensive wine list! Both restaurants are very upscale. For those customers that would like to have an exquisite seafood dinner, this is the place. I guarantee that you will find some wonderful choices!
Always my go to when I'm the mood for seafood!!  The best in the city!!  Very friendly staff and they really know what there doing!  Huge desserts too!
