Not fine dining, no dress code, don’t bother dressing up, music appalling, loud and completely wrong for a dining environment. Will not aide your digestion or create any kind of ambiance.
Ergonomics
Extremely odd, we found it highly offensive having to be seated at a bench, on very high stools, not elegant , seating very cramped. Waiting staff and chefs dance around each other.
Menu
We had 8 course trust the chef.
Food was dominated by purèed vege and cold dishes.
We were expected to be excited about three venison options!
First six dishes were eaten from a dirty plate!!!! Plates only changed for the large dish ( which was 4 small venison medallions resting on beetroot purèe with 4 raisins, plus venison neck which we were unable to eat.., no plate offered for dessert.
Food was dull, in presentation and taste. Food proportions totally ridiculous.
Wine
We were told that our five wines would be halved between the two of us yet we paid $160 per person.
Worst dining experience we have ever had.
