This place is absolutely delish!!! It's on the second floor of the small shopping district. They have a picture book with the menu so you can see what the meal looks like for those trying the food for the first time. The spicy food level can be adjusted, and everything was amazing. The people working here are super sweet! I love supporting local family restaurants. You can taste the love of the culture in every bite! Island Malaysian cuisine is my favourite restaurant in Vegas. Tess, the owner, is a lovely lady who always greets you with a smile. Their nasi lemak, kueh kak, Roti chanai, chicken rice, satay, pesembur, Rojak, Assam laksa are delicious and pretty close to what you get at Malaysian gawker stalls. Occasionally they sell kueh lapis or Kueh talam, which is such a treat! Their ice kacang and chendol are fantastic too.
