This restaurant serves Chinese and Japanese cuisines. Perfectly cooked sushi, hot & sour soup and sour chicken are among the dishes to be tasted at Ichiban Asian Cuisine. This place provides food delivery for the convenience of its clients. The cool staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. This spot is notable for its fast service. Based on the visitors' opinions, prices are low. When inside, the atmosphere is enjoyable. But the general rating for this restaurant isn't high on Zomato.

My favorite Asian restaurant in the area to sit down and have a quiet lovely meal
I know we all have wanted to give less than 1 star for a horrible experience at a business but for whatever reason 1 star is as low as you can go. Well in all actuality we have the ability to go lower than the 1 star and actually we do when we decide the so called "service" we as the paying customer received is less than expected. Of course there are those who take advantage of these rights so it's up to you to read the words after the star. That's when you decide if that business gets less then a star. So my beef with Ichiban in McKinney. We've ordered delivery through them 3, tonight being the 4th. It's very convenient that they keep all your order #'s, what you ate, what they charged your credit card. It's all there for you to see. All on the up and up. So why would this crazy loving Japanese food fanatic quibble over $5? In the end it came down to principle. I'm in a quandary as well. How much do I want to expose them their oh so wiley ways? Let's see how short I can make this. Received email with itemized charges, subtotal, tax, delivery charge, tip and final total. Same as last 3 orders in the past. Husband signs slip when food arrives. I hear him say an amount higher than what was emailed. I wait for the trick or treaters to leave and ask to see receipt. No receipt. I call. Here's where the fun begins. I explain I was charged $5 more then what my receipt states. Gotta shorten this. First it was because I asked for extra salad dressing & dumpling sauce. Asked how much per, .50 cents. Hmmm, so $1? When that didn't work and I again read her my order she then says they actually gave me the adult order instead of the kids order I actually ordered so they had to charge me the adult price. Yeah I don't think so. Final straw. That extra charge was the surcharge. $5 surcharge. 4th time ordering, 1st $5 surcharge. It's gone on long enough. I just couldn't play anymore. If you need $5 that bad have at it. Gonna end this on an amusing note. The manager called me a little while later and apologized for the umm "misunderstanding." I really should have paid attention to what she said because I know surcharge was thrown in there somewhere again but unfortunately this girl will give you just 1 turn on the merry go round. I think I owe a thank you to her for some credit (amount unknown) to my account. I'm pretty sure she offered to put it back on my card but i figure a credit is much easier for them to close out at the end of the night. I will add this. Whoever it was who tried in vain to come up with why I was being charged $5 more using 4 different reasons, I suggest you make up some cliff notes. Had it not been so obvious you were grasping at straws and flat out LYING I'd be in bed dreaming of that extra dumpling sauce I ordered.
Dark and old establishment. Service was great. The people were very accommodating and nice. Food - my hubby ordered Tom Yum which was very far from the authentic Thai soup... Flavorless thai soup... I had monster sushi which was alright. Overall, food was edible but just very bland... I find this place a little pricey for the quality you get. We will NOT be visiting Ichiban Asian Cuisine again. We will try some other place for Asian food nearby...
