From the service to the food there is nothing to complain about. Very friendly, courteous staff, the food was very good. The guests are a diverse mix. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in with a wheelchair. The staff handles it professionally. Were in Konstanz today. In advance we looked for a place for lunch that offered something different than just cordonbleu, schnitzel, pasta, pizza and the like. Then we found Ikrams and we really liked the menu. Lebanese food. According to all the good reviews, the food there is great, as is the service. Unfortunately, the latter was not the case at all. I imagine Lebanese/German hospitality differently. The ambience is nice and is underlined with great oriental background music. When we entered there were 4 tables occupied, so relatively empty. The young lady and the young gentleman in service were not particularly interested in us as guests. We placed the drinks order and when the appetizer arrived, we still had no drinks. Ok, mistakes can happen. But if afterwards the plates are almost slammed in front of you and you don't even ask if everything is good, I see this as a lack of interest and it shows that you are not particularly trying to make the guest feel welcome and comfortable. The young lady always had a smile on her face when she came to the table, but as soon as she turned around you could see how annoyed and listless she was doing her job. And you should teach the gentleman that your appearance towards guests is the be-all and end-all and that you act as a figurehead for the company. The food was good. Was delicious and authentic. The lamb had a good taste, although there were a bit of small pieces and a lot of fat, but there were 4 pieces on the plate and super fine rice. I give the two stars for the food. Unfortunately, the service was below average and unfortunately really spoiled our stay. I hope this isn't always the case.. Otherwise, it doesn't surprise me that the restaurant was half empty in such a busy place at lunchtime. A pity. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
