Authentic Italian food. Well off the beaten track of most tourists. However, if you do find yourself in the area of a lunch time pay a visit for the real deal.

The restaurant is North of the Autostrada on Località Carbonata, and you can park at the back or at the front off the main road.We were very warmly welcomed when we arrived at 7:30 - being the first people there! and shown to a lovely round table.We were present with some complimentary bruschetta with a ragu sauce which were delicious. We didnt speak much Italian and the waiter spoke very little English so deciphering some of the dishes was difficult but we thought we'd ordered 2 mixed starters - one of meat & cheese and one of fish - and various main courses.After quite a while our main courses arrived and then one of our mixed starters so it was all a bit confusing - and our mixed seafood never arrived.All of the food was delicious and my partner's steak was exceptionally good and I had to tackle the bone which was great.The Chianti Classico we had was very good and the only slightly disappointing thing was that we were brought more water without being asked and then charged 4 euros for it - 2 euros a bottle.The whole meal with one mixed starter for 5 and mains, one bottle of wine and 4 bottles of water was about 130 euros.We'd definitely return - hopefully when our Italian is better!
