Our first visit to Imperial Sushi in Žižkov about a month ago was surprisingly great. The restaurant was almost empty, the service was polite and knowledgeable, and the waiter made excellent recommendations. We ordered sashimi and two sets of rolls — everything was fresh, flavorful and a real pleasure to eat. The kimchi was outstanding. Prices are reasonable, and although we waited almost 30 minutes for our food, the quality made up for it and we left very satisfied. Unfortunately, our second visit was a completely different experience. We called around 9 PM to confirm we could still come, as the official closing time is 10 PM. We were told it would be fine if we ordered quickly. We arrived about seven minutes later to an almost empty restaurant, yet were told they were already closing and could only prepare take-away, even though there were still roughly 45 minutes before closing. The staff member that night was indifferent, a bit rude and inconsistent — one thing on the phone, another upon arrival. It made us feel unwelcome. Another detail worth mentioning is that the room temperature often feels cold and damp, which makes it uncomfortable to stay longer or relax properly. It’s a shame, because the food is genuinely good, fresh and fairly priced. Imperial Sushi has the potential to be an excellent place, but the inconsistent customer service makes it difficult to return (even spontaneously), invite friends, or recommend it. I sincerely hope the management improves the hospitality aspect — with better service, this restaurant could easily become a favorite. Good luck! Takový přístup je v rozporu s tím, jakou pohostinnost chceme našim hostům poskytovat, a Vaši zkušenost bereme velmi vážně. Before the incident, I ordered food from different restaurants almost every day. On the days when I stayed home and had no groceries, I ordered delivery several times a day, as you can see from the pictures of my Wolt account. I ordered from dozens... even hundreds of different restaurants. But I have never experienced anything like what I experienced after eating food from IMPERIAL SUSHI ŽIŽKOV on November 24, 2024!! IMPERIAL SUSHI ŽIŽKOV denies having any connection with my food poisoning, even though I vomited their Tom Yum shrimp soup up to 8 hours after consuming it. IMPERIAL SUSHI Žižkov has the audacity to claim that my acute gastroenteritis that day could be related to the fact that I smoke cannabis. People are not hospitalized 2x a day and they don't vomit 4x a day even with diarrhea, they don't need 6 infusions in one day after smoking or quitting cannabis!!! If you want to take this to court, I can inform you right now that there is not a single medical record where I would be in a similar medical situation, but there are old medical records in which there are references to the fact that I am a cannabis user. So to the people who run this business and choose to suggest that this is a "fictitious incident", I want to say that you are evil and disgusting. /Before the incident I was ordering food from different restaurants almost every day. On the days when I was staying at home and didn't have any groceries I was ordering delivery multiple times per day as you can see from screenshots of my Wolt delivery service account. I ordered from tens.. even hundreds of different restaurants. Never ever have i endured something like what i had to go through after eating food from IMPERIAL SUSHI ŽIŽKOV on the 24th of November 2024!! IMPERIAL SUSHI ŽIŽKOV has denied having any connection to my food poisoning, even though I was throwing up their Tom Yum shrimp soup 8 hours from its consumption. IMPERIAL SUSHI Žižkov has the audacity to suggest that my acute gastroenteritis on that day could be connected with me being a cannabis smoker. People don't get hospitalized 2 times in one day, don't throw up 4 times in one day with additional diarrhea and people don't need 6 infusions in one day after smoking or quitting smoking cannabis!!! If you wanna take it to court I can let you know right now that there is NOT one single medical record of me being in an even similar medical situation to this one but there are old medical records existing which confirm me being a cannabis user. So to people who run this establishment and had decided to go with suggesting that it is a "fictional incident", I want to express that you are evil and disgusting. We use fresh ingredients to prepare our dishes and adhere to the highest standards in their preparation. It is completely impossible for you to have health complications after any food prepared by us. From the medical documentation sent, it appears that at the time of treatment you were under the influence of addictive substances and had a high value correction. Although it is not up to us to judge the origin of the health complications, it cannot be ruled out that these were caused precisely by the regular use of addictive substances. We try to keep our restaurants at the highest level of professionalism, and therefore leave the note regarding the incentives at the hygiene station completely uncommented.
