Dined here last Saturday with a girlfriend. Had drinks at bar, me a great dark rum on ice w/lime wedge, recommended by A. J., fab barman and fellow Michigander. Girlfriend a vodka gimlet. Very attentive. Impressed with waiter/MD Matt and how he found a table for us as we'd missed our reservation. Had the mushroom escargot and SF Cioppini, friend lamb chops Provençal. Both had to take remainders home. Food was excellent, service very attentive...we were some of last people to leave. A.J. came from behind bar to give me farewell hug. Will definitely come back, if only to hang at bar with A. J. Well do want to try other items on menu, as food was DELICIOUS!!!
Stumbled across this amazing little Italian spot while searching for food in New Orleans that didn't come with a 90 minute wait. I am a sucker for mussels and this place did not disappoint! Great wine selection, great service, and couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere. The live pianist playing old-timey favorites raised the bar even higher. Would definitely recommend!
Had the cioppino and the lamb. Both items were mediocre and not fantastic. Would not come back here.
