Have been wanting to dine here for years and finally stopped in on last visit to London. Loved it - staff was attentive, our table location was a quiet nook, and the food was really, really delicious. Only knock is the server's heavy Russian(?) accent - I couldn't understand most of what was said, which was disappointing. However, can't  wait to go back!
There's two connected but separate businesses here, the bar and the restaurant.  The service was first-rate fine-restaurant attentive, and the dinner was quick so I had no trouble at all making my evening show, so I regret to say that the food was more variable.  The soup (the variety of which changes regularly) was excellent, and I was very happy to have parmesan fried courgettes, a side I like but can rarely find, especially not at a fine restaurant.  My fish, however, was less than ideal.  Though a single fillet, it seemed divided into three layers, the top and bottom of which were well cooked while the middle one seemed intentionally underdone.  And it was resting on a bed of mashed potato, which the menu had not revealed, though it mentioned the other accompaniments.  I dislike potato, so this was an annoyance.  Pretty good meal, but I've had better in London.
My wife and I went in and sat at the bar.    We had a sampling of oysters, squid, prawns etc.     service was exemplary.   Food was exquisite.    Highly recommend.
