This restaurant and South Street Seaport Museum can be both really attractive for tourists. Make a change from your habitual meal and try perfectly cooked pies and good sandwiches at Jack's Stir Brew Coffee. On the menu, you can choose tasty doughnuts, cupcakes and macarons. Delicious cider gets positive reviews. This place offers great matcha latte, matcha or iced coffee among its drinks.

The homely atmosphere of this spot allows guests to relax after a hard working day. On the top of all that, the staff is attentive. Nice service is something visitors appreciate here. You are to be pleasantly impressed with affordable prices at this restaurant. As a number of reviewers say, the decor is homey. But zomato users haven't given Jack's Stir Brew Coffee a high rating.

Got a large hot stir coffee for $3.54 (included taxes). It's stronger than your typical Starbucks coffee. The quaint cafe drew a younger 20-30s hipster crowd chatting away with their friends or immersed in their laptops. The cafe seats around 6-8 tables. It was crowded on a rainy Sunday afternoon. We didn't sit indoors but would probably go back when we are in the area.
Wonderful to have found a Starbucks-free zone in South Street Seaport, at least for now. So, to postpone the inevitable by at least a couple of months, frequent and support Jack's. Enjoy the coffee, and order the oatmeal with poached egg on top - first time for me - you may become a believer as well, and try ordering that at Starbucks. The area still has a bit of a seaport edge - hope that it continues. In the meantime, Jack's is there to supply what it takes to make it through the day.
Always see dogs in here. Which is why I go to one of the several other coffee shops nearby. I'm a dog owner myself but it just isn't right to expect others to be ok with your dogs fur in their coffee.
