Rue Laval is worth visiting before wonderful meals at this bbq. Do not delay your visit – seriously, the Portuguese cuisine is waiting for you. The chicken was extremely dry with NO sauce whatsoever. I had to finish it by drenching it in ketchup. The fries were hard like a rock too. Not to mention cold This is my first review ever and probably my only. This was a horrible experience. Funny enough the lady outside said the chicken was the best in Montreal extremely far from it. Thumbs down big time, save your money and go else where. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

We popped into Restaurant Jano after we spied the board out front advertising chicken quarters. We were happy to see many other delicious entrees on the menu. I ordered what turned out to be perhaps the most delicious lamb chops I've had in my life (one of my favorites whenever I have the choice). The host was welcoming and made us feel relaxed right away. The bill was surprisingly small for such good food. I could not feel any better about this place. 6 out of 5 stars.
