Unfortunately the beans with the lamb were completely hard and dry, the potatoes tasted like they had been warmed up, the lamb was fine. Starter was delicious The service doesn't match the menu prices. No questions asked about what dressing you want for the salad. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We went to Janses Mattes yesterday and had a very nice evening. The menu is varied, the wine list and the range of drinks are very good. My favorite for future visits are the surprise menus.
