Enjoy Place Jacques-Cartier by default, the clients' recommendation is to visit this restaurant as well. Search through the French menu. Come to Jardin Nelson for a break and try good mushroom crepes, smoked salmon and duck confit. The truth is that you will really like tasty vanilla ice cream, pouding chomeur and parfait. Clients visit this place to drink delicious rosé wine, rose sangria or lager. Great americano, ice tea or lemonade will make your meal tastier and you'll surely come back.
The homely atmosphere of this spot allows visitors to relax after a hard working day. Many guests underline that the staff is nice at this restaurant. Spectacular service is something visitors agree upon here. Democratic prices are to be expected at Jardin Nelson. The designer created a fancy decor. The Frommer's rating shows this place as being rated 2 stars, so it's a great place to visit.

Jardin Nelson will always have a line of people waiting to get in during the summer months, but I can tell you the wait is worth it! This is a lovely restaurant set in a beautiful garden away from the craziness of Montreal’s Old Town streets. It’s literally a hidden oasis! Once you’re given a menu, you’ll find there is a plethora of options - they have a very impressive selection of crêpes (which I absolutely would recommend getting), excellent salads, very good pizzas, and that’s really just scratching the surface! They have so many different items on the menu, it’s crazy! Try a variety of different things, and don’t be afraid to ask the waiters/waitresses what they would recommend. That’s what we did, and it helped a lot! Service was very good, food came out in a reasonable manner, and despite it being in a very touristy part of Montreal, prices were not exorbitant. All in all, a very impressive restaurant we will always return to whenever we are visiting the city! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
