Unfortunately, as of Nov 4th, they're permanently closed. Spoke with a manager on Nov 3rd and was told the cost of operating in Boulder was just too high. $30/sq. foot for rent and just not enough business to cover that cost. A net loss of more than $1 million since it opened.A shame, as I quite liked the food, and the service was always very good.

Good soups. Comfortable inside but parking can be difficult.

I used to go to Jason's Deli quite a bit back when they had the "Deli Cowboy" on the menu.  It's smoked brisket with cheese and bbq sauce on french bread.  I am a Deli Cowboy expert.  That was the only sandwich that I would get from them.  Period. They took it off the menu several years ago and I stopped going to their restaurant.   Yesterday, my wife wanted to get their salad bar so we stopped in.  I saw on their menu that they had brought back the Deli Cowboy!  I immediately ordered it. Unfortunately, they changed it.  It resembles the original but the meat is different.  There's no substance to it.  Feels like it was pre-chewed then put back on the bun.  And the bun is softer now.  It's like they engineered it for very old people who don't have any teeth. My wife liked her salad so that's why I'm giving them two stars.   I'm not saying "don't go to Jason's Deli", I'm just reporting on their failed attempt at bringing back a classic sandwich.  You might actually like the "Cowboy", but I will not be going back anytime soon.
