I enjoyed the see bream with sea asparagus last evening. Went well with pinto grigio. We had an attentive, patient waiter and enjoyed the ambiance of the tucked in terrace. Would highly recommend this fab little hideaway. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50

This quaint restaurant is a neighborhood gem. A relaxed ambiance with excellent food. The steaks were delicious as was the corn chicken with polenta. Our waiter was very accommodating and helpful. If you’re looking for a dining experience that is a step up from the many Italian, pizza, and burger places in the area, give Kapp & Tein a try. Kaap & Tein is truly a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of the city center. Once you discover it, it’s impossible to forget. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious options, and every visit leaves me impressed by both the quality of the food and the warm, intimate atmosphere. There’s also a cozy bar area, perfect for enjoying a drink. All in all, it’s easily one of my favourite restaurants in Amsterdam. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
